Important information about low stock and backordered items

Modified on Sun, Jun 1 at 7:20 AM

We strive to keep our inventory as up-to-date as possible. However, there may be times when discrepancies exist, and where multiple shoppers might be looking (and buying) the same thing.

Our inventory system does not reserve products at any point other than the checkout process. As a result, there is the possibility that a low-stock item may become backordered before you check out.

While delays are never optimal, only products replenished every week are permitted to be backordered. This means you'll wait a maximum of one week to receive your order (for example, weather stations generally replenish mid-week). This shouldn't happen often, but if it does, rest assured, your order will be fulfilled with the incoming stock.
